It is going to be busy in the next few days so I’m greeting you all now. I know we heard a lot of stories that next year will going to be challenging but hey, God will provide as always right? Well, that’s what I’m thinking now.

So, we as a family will embrace the next year and look forward to more blessings that will come our way. I hope you do the same too.

We will have dinner afterwards at my place with my Dad. Crabs, Shrimps and seafoods will be served. Yum! I can’t wait for that. I love the gifts that I got last night from the in-laws! Special mention is the complete set of twilight books in hardbound. I know, it was one of the best gifts I have ever received!

The little girl and baby girl also received lovely gifts too. Thank you very much everyone!

Now I’m off to get more food for the Hubby who is already hungry (again!).

Have a Merry Christmas everyone!

We heard mass at around 7 in the evening. We were with the little girl. And then had dinner at 8. We then wrap a few more gifts for the Christmas eve. We were so tired the whole time but we just thought that it is going to be over soon.

Hubby and I tried to sleep a few hours after wrapping some gifts and then woke up at exactly 12 midnight.

Noche buena was fun. We had kakanin, hot chocolate, cheesecake, barbeque, and salad. It was a sumptious feast! Afterwards, it was time to open our gifts! More stories and photos soon…

While we were in the mall, we also checked out some UGG boots for my Dad as a Christmas gift. It wasn’t easy looking for it since we were with the little girl. Even if she was sleeping the whole time we were shopping, Hubby had a hard time carrying her. Now, Hubby is having a backache.

After the shopping spree, we went home and experienced the Christmas rush. Good thing we already shopped a few months ago for our Christmas gifts.

We packed our things and headed to the in laws. Since Alex’s yaya left for a vacation, we decided to stay with the in laws for the holidays. We packed our things for almost the whole day! Whew! But I’m glad I was able to do a little bit of reading about car insurance and did a few banking transactions online. It was a stressful day but at least we will be able to rest at the in laws for the rest of the holidays.

It was just pretty simple but the most important thing is that our baby girl is now a Christian. More stories and photos soon.

7 Days Before Christmas

I planned to have a haircut with Chiyo but up to this day I was still feeling sick. I got sick a couple of days ago. I had high fever and severe headache. So I had to cancel my appointment with him. I even planned on shopping for a theater seating but it was also cancelled.

Hubby on the other hand, went to his office Christmas party after lunch. He had a blast and he even won a p1,500 worth of gift certificate.

As usual we still had sleepless nights but things are getting better.

But now that I just at home and not in the corporate world, I have to make an effort to do research on my own. But for me it is not enough so I’m thinking of going back to school. The thing is, I have two kids to attend to now and being in the school physically is not yet an option. So I’m thinking of getting an online university degree just to keep myself updated. Capella University offers master’s or doctoral degree programs in business, information technology, education, human services, psychology, public health, and public safety. Now, I need to think which course to take.

Cute huh? Although they only have a medium size which would fit from 2 mos to 7 mos. But I’m still getting it. I’m sure time would fly so fast we wouldn’t know that two months would pass by quickly.

For now will have to stay home with the baby girl, feed her every two to three hours and savor the moment while she is still a newborn. Work and writing articles about Mesothelioma lawyer will have to wait.

We tried to do some research about breast flows and found out that this is not suitable for colicky babies. So we tried another set of bottles which is Dr. Brown’s Natural Flow.

And we are happy ever since we shifted. She still cries every now and then (most of the time actually when she is awake), but allowing her to burp is easier now. I don’t know if this is because of the bottles but for now, we are not using the breast flow yet.

It just goes to show how much researching about a product before buying it is really important. If only I did that before buying the breast flow, I couldn’t have bought it. But anyway, lesson learned. I promise myself to look it up to the internet first before buying it.
